A study conducted by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) of the UK analyzed passwords from breached accounts across the world. The results showed that numerical combinations dominated the top 10 list, with "123456" emerging as the most widely used password with 23.2 million accounts. The password "123456789" was utilized by 10.7 million accounts and "12345678" was used more than 7 million accounts. Over 3 million accounts each utilized the passwords "qwerty" and "password".
